BIOGRAPHY

The Band began in Bergamo (Italy) in 1997 and has been created by two brothers, Raffaello Galbiati (lead vocals and rhythm guitar) and Mattia Galbiati (lead guitar and background vocals), together with Matteo Sangiorgio(bass) and Vittorio Mologni (drums). Their band name was “Mortaliirae”.In 1998 the band recorded their first cd “Salvate Vos Ex Inferi” with black metal style and in 2000 recorded their self produced promo cd, which was containing 6 songs with death metal style, work recorded and mixed by Mauro Galbiati at the“Jsmobile” Studio in Bergamo. The drummer Vittorio Mologni decided to leave the Band, going abroad for working reasons; that situation led the band to a sort of artistic breakdown until the arrival of the new drum player, Manuel Giaconia, therefore they decided to change their band name to “M.IRE” and suddenly they started composing “rock-metal” songs with clean vocals lines and little growl parts. As result of this new and productive way of working, june 2003 saw the release of a new promo cd, with 3 brand new songs added, once again in collaboration with Mauro Galbiati and Dario Ravelli (Suonovivo Recording Studio,Bergamo). The musician Valentina Iiriti gave her contribution to this promo playing piano. The new work “Mortali Irae” came out in june 2004. That production was more consistent than the previous ones, characterised by melodies and rhythm, thanks to the experience achieved during these last years.

LATEST NEWS 2005 : “M.IRE” have signed a contract with Need2*be Music Management Services www.need2.be for management and co-production of a new EP. Stay tuned!
